Scanner Terms of Use

By downloading or using Scanner, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. License to Use

Scanner grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, or distribute the app.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

• Charges: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Free trials: If offered, any unused portion ends when you buy a subscription.

3. Managing & Cancelling

You can manage or cancel at any time in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

• Open Settings on your device
• Tap your name
• Tap Subscriptions
• Select Scanner and tap Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for the current period.

4. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple. See Apple support.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of documents and exports you create with Scanner. We do not claim rights to your content.

Your responsibility: You must have rights to any content you scan, import, or share.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for illegal, harmful, or abusive activity
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app or its servers
• Use the app to harass, violate privacy, or infringe rights of others

7. Service Availability & Liability

Scanner is provided "as is." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use. Updates will be posted here with an updated "Last Modified" date. Continued use of Scanner means you accept the updated terms.
